OMNI Partners with WTA Architecture and Design Studio for Anthology Festival 2018
Believing in the significant influence of architecture and design to improve our daily lives, as it is with quality lighting, OMNI has once again decided to participate in the biggest architecture and design event in the Philippines – the Anthology Architecture and Design Festival.
Held last February 9-11 at the famed Fort Santiago in the historic walled city of Intramuros, Manila, Anthology Festival gathered around 6,000 participants – from leading professionals to architecture and interior design students – in celebration of Social Architecture, the theme of this year’s festival. Social Architecture, according to event organizer WTA Architecture and Design Studio, is a concept that “seeks to develop an architecture that promotes a network of inclusive, barrier-free spaces that engage communities and the people.” And like the last two preceding events in 2016 and 2017, this year’s festival also featured guest speakers, dialogue panels, designer interviews, as well as various competitions for all attendees.

As one of the sponsors, we also set up a tent and prepared fun activities to further enliven the festive and inclusive spirit of the event. Indeed, it was a pleasure for our team to meet and welcome the attendees who have come from different parts of the country, and altogether witness the gathering of like-minded individuals in pursuit of advancing their craft.

This is now the 3rd year of Anthology Architecture and Design Festival, a non-profit event whose proceeds go to the projects of the Intramuros Administration and other chosen charitable institutions.
